Always Fabulous, Almost Funny
Aural Fixation
Since 1997, the most fierce and fabulous ladies on Boston University campus have come together to sing some funky fresh harmony in the A cappella Fiesta known as Aural Fixation. Whether we’re paying tribute to 80’s classics or recent jams, rocking out or puttin’ some soul in it, surrendering to pop guilty pleasures or slow things down like Barry White with a slick ballad, you can be sure we’re having a great time and our audience is too. We sing all over campus and around Boston, road trip to different states and schools to perform, partake in a cappella competitions, and host our own winter and spring concerts every year. Our fixations include all things bro, gigs, nicknames, awkward warm ups, road trips, our alums, Sunset nachos, champagne, and our alter ego- the Alpha Fixa Zeta fraternity. We usually think we’re funny, and there are sporadic and beautiful moments when we’re right.

Spring Newibies!
Thank You so much to all of the girls who auditioned, we had a fabulous crowd this year. We wish we could take everyone, and the group of you who were at our callbacks were so very talented. Please take it to heart when we say that we would love all of you to re-audition. That being said, our spaces are limited, so we can only offer slots to a few.
